Tufted Staple Set Brushes

Staple set brush design offers more options than any other brush construction. The variety of tuft patterns, filament choices and core or block materials make the staple set brush a versatile tool.

  • Tufted Staple Set Brushes

    Tufted Staple Set Brushes

These brushes provide excellent rotation of fruit and vegetable products in transverse wash equipment where the product is bumped over the rotating brushes from the in-feed conveyor. Typical uses are washing, waxing and peeling of potatoes, carrots, onions, root crop and citrus. Available in straight trim or Hi-Lo trim and in straight, staggered, spiral or chevron patterns. Brush cores are available in steel, stainless steel, aluminium or highly durable and food grade safe plastics.

Tufted staple set brushes are available to fit O.E.M specifications. Mixing of various sizes of materials in one brush allows for both washing and peeling of product or a single size for a specific application. FDA-Food Grade epoxy is used to secure and seal the filament in the channel. The epoxy will prevent the filament from shifting under high rotational speeds.

  • Sectional Tufted Staple Set Brush

    Sectional

Interchangeable sectional tufted brushes are typically used in the food processing industry and allow for easy adjustments of brush patterns and colours.

Our sectional tufted style brushes are designed to fit 3 inch and 75 millimeter square drive shafts, including Wyma™ Engineering Equipment.

Nylon bristle diameters are colour coded to ensure that correct diameter is chosen for the washing and polishing application.

Accurately trimmed brush faces and indexed cores allow for consistent brush patterns, every time.

No special tools are required to install replacement brush parts.

  • Tufted Plate Staple Set Brush

    Tufted Panel and Plate

Panel or plate brushes are used to support flat surfaces being transferred along a conveying system. Typical applications are sheet metal fabrication, glass panel conveying, wood finishing, or any application where protecting or applying a surface finish is a high priority.
